Jeff is a native of Gwinnett County and grew up going to Lawrenceville First UMC. A lifelong fan of UGA, he earned his bachelors degree in religion there. (GO DAWGS!) Then, he went to Candler School of Theology for his Masters and Doctorate.

Jeff is married to his high school sweetheart, Emily. They have two children, Carson and Charlotte, who are an endless supply of sermon illustrations!

Previously, Jeff has served as an Associate Pastor at Chamblee UMC and Northside UMC.

Outside of church, Jeff enjoys a good cup of coffee, going to concerts or sporting events. He loves to learn through audiobooks, explore new restaurants, or play board games. Mostly, these days his free moments are spent enjoying quality time with his family.
